Jessie Price is trialling Polis as a way of listening to the community in Bean on specific topics of concern. Polis is an innovative tool for hearing a range of views on a topic and finding consensus. You can read more about it here and how it has been used previously here.

We encourage you to come back often to respond to new comments (e.g.spend 3 minutes every 3 days). It is helpful if you can use the same device each time so that you don't see comments that you've already responded to. There is an automatically generated report of the conversation which you may find interesting. At the conclusion of this trial we'll publish here an interpretation of the data and how we plan to use it, which will also be shared with our mailing list (you can join here). This trial is being moderated - comments that are unsavoury will be rejected, but so might comments that don't relate to the conversation, to make this productive for everyone.
