Communities Rising: Action by the People for the Times

Join us for 'Communities Rising: Action by the People for the Times', the sixth annual Convention of the Community Independents movement. Turbocharging the movement’s networking and sharing, the Convention is a must-attend event for community leaders, volunteers and anyone passionate about harnessing the collective power of communities to create a better future for Australia.

With independents already making change here in the Senate, the Legislative Assembly and at federal elections, there is an appetite for better representation here in the ACT. Join us to see how much more we can do together.

Tickets: This year, CIP is likely to ask everyone to purchase an individual ticket, covering you for Friday evening at home and all day Saturday - stay tuned for details. There is no charge to join our watch party and you can come and go on the day.

Catering: As there are plenty of food and coffee options nearby, we're not providing any catering.

Venue: Woden Community Hub is on mezzanine level 2, between Commonwealth Bank and David Jones.
